Apart from New York City, San Francisco is at the top of my list for favorite cities to visit! Michael and I decided to take our vacation this year up to Northern California and were lucky enough to be able to incorporate San Fran as one of our stops. I couldn’t have been any more excited when he surprised me with this unexpected pitstop, even if it only lasted for 24 hours. We ended up staying at the Executive Hotel Vintage Court and I loved the boutique feel of the place. It was also great that it was in walking distance of practically everything and just around the corner from Union Square. We spent the day just walking around the city (which isn’t an easy task since there are hills at every turn) and getting lost taking pictures and popping in for drinks at random spots that looked interesting. I also did a little bit of shopping at Aldo, because you can’t leave SF without a souvenir, or two! In the evening we had dinner and drinks at this really cool speak easy style lounge with live jazz music called Bix on Gold Street. We passed it 4 times because it was down an alley and we were looking for an actual street so we looked like such tourists just walking up and down the same streets so confused. I really encourage you to stop by here at least for a drink when you visit. Their Martini’s were phenomenal and the whole vibe was magical. This will be a place we will go back to every time we visit for sure. We finished the evening with an Aperol Spritz and a Negroni at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel before walking back to our Hotel for the evening. Iv’e stayed at that Hotel before and absolutely loved it so we just had to return for a nightcap.

This outfit was not planned at all since this stop was a surprise for me. I’m just so happy I had a cute pair of comfortable booties to wear since we were doing a ton of walking. It’s also a lot chillier in Sf than in LA so I’m happy I packed this adorable pink cowl neck sweater from Forever 21! It’s so so comfy and I love the dusty rose color with a deep red lip. I paired this sweater a few weeks ago with a tight jean pencil skirt and it was so cute and girly.

This is the city that always leaves you wanting more and I cannot wait for us to return and continue to explore. I’m hoping we’ll be able to see a show next time and ride on one of those adorable trolleys! I’m such a tourist.
