This maternity shoot was an absolute dream!!!! I kept putting off when we were going to shoot because I really wanted it to be snowy but then the forecast would always change and the snow would go away! We shot these at 37 weeks, which I feel like was pushing it, but I am so happy we waited and were able to take them and he didn’t decide to arrive early. It was pretty cold while we were shooting because it was actively snowing as well, so I wanted to share some of the BTS pics to show I wasn’t all that crazy.
Happy 2019 Everyone! I hope that everyone had a fabulous 2018 and is gearing up for an even better 2019! With my sweet little bub due any day now, I know this year will be my very best yet! I can’t even begin to explain how tough pregnancy is, but I know the reward will outweigh all of the ups and downs I’ve had the last 9 months.
Holy Smokes everyone!!!! First of all we’re having a BABY!!! … and I can’t believe how incredibly long overdue this blog post has been! I am back in the posting action and promise to not stay away so long again. The first trimester for me, was absolutely horrible. I didn’t leave my bed for like 2 months and was too sick to do anything at all. I am now 26 weeks and am feeling so much better except the nausea has been traded in for the worst back pain ever! But nothing matters because we have this sweet baby joining our family in January and we are so over the moon. It has been a long journey for Michael and I to finally say we’re going to be parents and I am forever grateful.
This brand couldn’t have came into my life at a better time! Ever since moving up to the mountains, I’ve been in need of a total wardrobe update that pairs nicely with the elements up here. Moosejaw is now my go to and I can’t wait to try out my new hammock I just got from them as well! I never thought I’d be an outdoorsy mountain woman, but turns out, I’m pretty good at it!
The snow has finally melted you guys!!!! I am praying we are finished with the snow because I am so ready for warmer weather and sun dresses! As cute as this Navy Cape is, I’ll be happy to pack it away if that means my tanks and tees can come out. I honestly thought I would love the Winter here, but coming from LA, I just cannot adjust. I’m sure I will in time, or I just need a LaLa Land Winter home to flee to.
I thought now would be the perfect time to post the deets for these adorable little OTBT Booties because it is the first day of Spring and these are an absolute must have for your Spring wardrobe! I have been wearing them on repeat with Denim Skinnies and Floral dresses. To be completely transparent, It’s still snowing here so I’ve been wearing them with dresses in my house dreaming of warmer days with the heat on full blast and some self tanner. (That counts right?)
Snow Days with my Delilah Babe are THE best! She is so energetic and is definitely a born snow bunny! It’s so hard to get her to come back in the house when there’s snow on the ground. Although I’m so over the snow now and am dying for some Vitamin D, it has been fun dressing for the season! I finally get to wear pieces that I’ve had for years that I would’ve never worn in Los Angeles.
