I’m a little late on sharing this look from my 30th Birthday, but better late than never! I had so many different emotions this year about turning 30, but it turns out… it’s just like 29 (literally nothing has changed) so my anxiety was all for nothing. Since we’ve move back to Los Angeles we have been doing our best at trying to explore new places and stumbled across this gem. Ceremony is this super cool Bar with handcrafted cocktails (insanely tasty) and Mexican/European fusion style food. I hadn’t planned on doing anything for my Birthday but Michael and his cousin Cody dragged me out and I am so happy they did because these drinks were off the charts. If you like spicy, try the Danza Del Fuego Habanero Infused Mezcal. I love the interior design as well and it has this giant industrial roll up door giving the indoor/outdoor vibe which I love! I will definitely be revisiting this rad spot on Ventura Blvd.

I love the simplicity of this outfit and this vest is just perfection and transitions from warmer days into cooler nights with adding a simple long sleeve underneath. This skirt is J.Crew but it’s and oldie so I linked a similar option. This vest however is new but I bought it from TJ Maxx, and their stores are ever changing with new items constantly that their website doesn’t always have the current pieces. I saw few variations in the store from other brands as well so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding a good one, also I linked some of my favorites above. This braid makes a statement and is super easy to accomplish! It’s essentially the pull through method in combination with a french braid, ending with a ton of pulling apart for a much fuller effect. I’d love to hear what you guys think and let me know if I should do a tutorial on it! 30 is looking bright and I’m actually getting quite excited to see what’s in store for the year!
