I am just 100% smitten with this top! Although I’m pretty sure it’s most likely meant to be a dress, this 5′ 10″ lady just isn’t willing to bare that much leg! Plus the bagginess of it doesn’t pair too well with the wind if you’re wearing it as a dress! I couldn’t find this exact one online (I bought mine at TJ Maxx) but I linked some similar affordable ones. If you haven’t heard of the Australian brand MinkPink, be sure to check them because everything is lovely! I also love the denim and floral combination with a comfortable pair of wedges for this Spring. These wedges are perfect for walking all day because the baby heel doesn’t put any strain on your feet and you’ll never tire in them. (They’re also under $30!) These sunnies are under $6 as are most that I buy. I drop or usually lose them so I just don’t take the chance of buying expensive ones. This route also gives me the ability to have a large collection to choose from for the price of what one pair would’ve cost! Don’t get me wrong, I would love to own many designer shades, but unfortunately, I’m not rollin’ in the dough to do so. Our Southern Cali Spring season is so unpredictable and this is why I’m making the statement that Crown Braids (or any braids) should be mandatory. This trip to Newport Beach was so insanely windy that I’m thankful I had my locks secured up tightly or I would be left with one tangled mess. My lineup for the upcoming months include many wedges and floral madness.
