This maternity shoot was an absolute dream!!!! I kept putting off when we were going to shoot because I really wanted it to be snowy but then the forecast would always change and the snow would go away! We shot these at 37 weeks, which I feel like was pushing it, but I am so happy we waited and were able to take them and he didn’t decide to arrive early. It was pretty cold while we were shooting because it was actively snowing as well, so I wanted to share some of the BTS pics to show I wasn’t all that crazy.
This brand couldn’t have came into my life at a better time! Ever since moving up to the mountains, I’ve been in need of a total wardrobe update that pairs nicely with the elements up here. Moosejaw is now my go to and I can’t wait to try out my new hammock I just got from them as well! I never thought I’d be an outdoorsy mountain woman, but turns out, I’m pretty good at it!
The snow has finally melted you guys!!!! I am praying we are finished with the snow because I am so ready for warmer weather and sun dresses! As cute as this Navy Cape is, I’ll be happy to pack it away if that means my tanks and tees can come out. I honestly thought I would love the Winter here, but coming from LA, I just cannot adjust. I’m sure I will in time, or I just need a LaLa Land Winter home to flee to.
Snow Days with my Delilah Babe are THE best! She is so energetic and is definitely a born snow bunny! It’s so hard to get her to come back in the house when there’s snow on the ground. Although I’m so over the snow now and am dying for some Vitamin D, it has been fun dressing for the season! I finally get to wear pieces that I’ve had for years that I would’ve never worn in Los Angeles.
If I have the opportunity to go matchy, I take it! Especially when it involves getting my Husband to pose for a pic! (which is never, but I tricked him because it was so close to Christmas and we needed a family photo) I think because they weren’t the same colors and exactly alike, he agreed.
