We have decided to slowly check things off our Bucket List locally until we can afford to check things off globally. Living in LA, there really is so much to do and explore and eat that it’s a bit overwhelming. We figured as long as we do something new every weekend or eat at a new restaurant, then eventually we will have scratched the surface. Hiking up to see the Hollywood sign was one that did not disappoint! We took the long route from behind the sign on the Valley side. The hike in total took us about 3.5 hours but the views of the City were well worth it and we got our workout in so it was perfect. It’s been raining a ton here so everything has turned fluorescent green and that’s something I haven’t seen here in many years and it’s been really refreshing. I didn’t even realize how much we liked hiking until this one, and now Michael and I have been trying out different trails in our area every Sunday morning.

This lucy track jacket is one that I will be wearing a ton! It’s the perfect fabric, super comfy, and I love the abstract floral print in Black & White. I think it’s very important that your workout gear is not only cute but comfortable otherwise you won’t wear it as often as you think. Like these black leggings that I am seriously never taking off. (Literally wearing them as I write this post) First of all, they’re black which a staple legging for all workout wardrobes. These run true to size and I’m a huge fan of the high waist and the pockets on the side. Because lets face it, we need somewhere to put our phones and chapstick or we’re just not going! Don’t even get me started on this dreamy mesh detail on the sides. I’ve loved all my lucy leggings but these just might be my favorite. (Shhhh! Don’t tell the others!) Another must have staple, is a black sports bra and this one is a show stopper with all these super sassy straps! This one also comes in 6 other colors as well, like this Golden Apricot one. As for my braid, I had no idea of it’s end result, I just kept twisting and braiding until it was complete. Since so many of you liked it on Instagram, I am going to try my best to recreate it and do a little tutorial for you guys soon.  I hope everyone’s Valentine’s Day was filled with lots of love and even more chocolate. I may have had 2 sprinkles cupcakes, candy, champagne and pizza for dinner but who’s judging right?? I am trying to up my fitness game though because summer is just around the corner, so no more bad foods for me and a lot more hikes are in my future.

(I received product from lucy for this article but all opinions are my own.)

  1. Love that you’re documenting all these LA adventures! That is a long hike, but I think the view and the adorable workout clothes would give me just the right amount of motivation to make it to the top! ?

    • Exactly! I actually almost gave up right at the end because I’m afraid of heights and there were some mountains we had to climb up and down to get there with just cliffs below us. So happy I conquered the fear though because it was well worth it in the end. Cheers Emily!

    • Thanks so much babe! I find it much more motivating to workout when I have cute clothes to go along with it! Ha

    • Thanks so much Liz!! There really is! It’s just so hard to not be a homebody on my days off work! Haha Xx

  2. I just want to say, I can’t get over your hair! You should do a tutorial on it. I would love that.

    • Awesome Love! Can’t wait to check it out, and thanks so much for stopping by!!! Xx

  3. Oh gosh! That’s absolutely the perfect track jacket, love it, plus the prints and style is so me. Totally obsessed with this overall look.
